Enlace (2024)

Like Fuchs’ recent work Turn into Smoke, the movement vocabulary for the septet Enlace was generated from a long list of written movement prompts interpreted individually by the dancers — Annalise Boydston, Daniel Garcia, Whitney Geldon, Esmeralda Ledesma, Asiyah Martin, Krysta Ortiz, and Kiara Taylor— in order to craft a fleeting space of elaborate and subtle interrelationship, with the dancers integrating new layers of complexity and awareness with each performance. With an original music composition by Brittany Padilla and lighting design by Dayna Morgan.
